Did you know that you can turn your HarmonySite into an app on your computer? Then, you can simply click on an icon on your desktop for easy access to your HarmonySite.

This works both on Windows and on Mac. You'll need the Google Chrome browser.

The steps to do this are as follows...

1. Open Google Chrome.

2. Log in to your HarmonySite and go to the page you would like your new "App" to open on.

  • If you want to make a shortcut to your Members Area, then go to the Members Area.
  • Or, if you want to make a shortcut to your Admin dashboard, then go to the Admin dashboard.

3. Click the “three dots” icon in the top-right corner of Chrome.

4. Depending on your computer, you might need to hover over “Save and Share” or “More Tools”.

(See both screenshots below.)

5. Click “Create Shortcut”.

(Again, see both screenshots.)

6. If you want to, you can change the shortcut's name here.

7. Tick “Open as window”.

8. Click “Create”. An icon is then placed on your computer's desktop screen.  Double-clicking that icon will open your HarmonySite as an "app" on your computer.
